It’s guaranteed to be illuminating.  Award winning jewelry designer Sharon Khazzam is a star in the world of haute joaillerie. She was the sole in-house jewelry designer for Asprey for eight years. With Asprey’s support, in 1993 Sharon launched her eponymous collection, which reflects her tastes as an artist and also her expertise with gemstones. You can find her one-of-a-kind collection of earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces at Barneys New York, Isetan and Mitsukoshi in Tokyo, and Ylang 23 in Dallas. Or you can work directly with her to create a bespoke piece, choosing stones that speak to you, and seeing the design and the final product come to life in her studio.

She has delivered riveting theatrical performances in her one-woman plays, including Fires in the Mirror: Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and Other Identities; Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992; and Notes from the Field. All were shaped from stories she elicited through recorded interviews, which she then personally portrayed on stage. It’s guaranteed to be illuminating.  Lauren Lovette is a Principal Dancer with New York City Ballet (NYCB). Born in Thousand Oaks, California, she began studying ballet at the age of 11. In 2006, after taking courses there for two summers, she enrolled full-time at the School of American Ballet – the official school of the NYCB. She became a member of the NYCB corps de ballet in 2010, was promoted to Soloist in 2013, and became a Principal Dancer in 2015.

With the belief that eating vegetarian or vegan should feel more celebration than sacrifice, Nix features dishes that are seasonal, shareable and highly flavorful. Innovative cocktails, house-made sodas and an affordable, adventurous wine list complete the menu, all served in a lively Greenwich Village atmosphere. Before launching Nix in February 2016, James Truman was the editor-in-chief of Details magazine, the long-time Editorial Director of Condé Nast, and a culinary consultant to hotelier André Balazs for restaurant Narcissa in the East Village and the Chiltern Firehouse in London.
