In the beginning, there was the Wing. Then the Coven. And now the Broad. Combination shared work spaces and social clubs designed exclusively for those who identify as women have been a Thing for quite a while now. If you’re thinking of joining one, or just keeping tabs on them, here are some new locations and new variations on the theme that we’ve heard and read about in recent weeks.
We have explored the phenomenon of “forest bathing” as a way to experience spiritual connection with nature and a calmer frame of mind. Another valuable practice that we recently experienced for the first time is walking a labyrinth, which is an ancient form of taking a spiritual journey that is still highly relevant today.

The September issues are here! And their covers are the best ones we’ve ever seen. Why? Because for the first time, as black women we can see ourselves, our family members, and black women we admire and respect in the faces of so many of the women featured on their covers. And more importantly, we can see issues of importance to us in the editorial features inside. History is being made this month. And its a magical experience.
And now we are two. Our second birthday here at Dandelion Chandelier is August 1, and to mark the occasion, we’re sharing some of the top-performing posts in our short history. We are on a serious mission right now. We’re working out, eating more fruits and vegetables, making cardio a priority and learning how to meditate. The season is almost here – and we have to be ready. Not the fall gala season. Certainly not beach vacation season. Election season.
