1. Diptyque Eau Capitale
One of the most luxurious fragrance brands in the world, Diptyque is a brand to watch. So when they have a new fragrance, we pay attention. Diptyque Eau Capitale aims to capture the essence of Paris. It’s a chypre scent, which typically has a warm and mossy-woody base made up of bergamot, oak moss, patchouli and labdanum. Layers of lush roses and pink peppercorns give it a zesty sweetness and lightness that make it a perfect choice for spring and beyond. $180 for 75 mL.
2. Miss Dior Rose N’ Roses
A classically feminine fragrance, Miss Dior Rose N’ Roses is a floral scent with an abundance of Grasse and Damascus roses. It’s brightened and modernized with additional notes of lively mandarin, white musk, geranium and bergamot. If you’re in search of something soft and tender, this romantic scent lingers all day without being cloying. $107 for 100mL.
3. Jo Malone Vetiver & Vanilla
Inspired by Madagascar’s vanilla-swept coastline, Jo Malone Vetiver & Vanilla is another winner from the always elegant London-based fragrance house. Earthy vetiver gives it a woody intensity while top notes of cool cardamom add a bright complexity. And finally, a zing of grapefruit tea make this deliciously warm vanilla scent even more refreshing and striking. $190 for 100mL.
4. Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris Intesement
Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris Intensement is an update from 2016’s Mon Paris. As the name suggests, this new fragrance intensifies the original fruity and floral fragrance of delicate red fruits and peony blossoms. Mon Paris Intensément is composed as a woody – floral – chypre bouquet. Hypnotic datura flowers are combined with the elegant and precious Rose Centifolia while base notes of cashmeran, patchouli, benzoin and white musk give an air of mystery. The fragrance will be available later this month.
5. Gucci Guilty Love Edition
Gucci’s limited edition fragrance Gucci Guilty Love Edition pays tribute to the vintage character of the Narcissus flower. Top notes of bergamot and grapefruit are blended with a watery accord for a green and fruity composition. And base notes of musks, patchouli and amber lend softness and intensity for a sophisticated scent fit for the modern woman. $96 for 50mL.
6. Moulton Brown Jasmine & Sun Rose
Molton Brown’s newest scent, Jasmine & Sun Rose, is delicious and luscious like a ripe summer fruit. Top notes are poised with succulent raspberry, luminous bergamot and juicy peach. 7. Chloe Nomade Absolu
Chloé’s Nomade Absolu, an earthy and woodsy fragrance, encapsulates the Chloe woman: free-spirited, sophisticated and sensual. Oak moss remains the heart of Nomade, which is enriched by fruity notes of davana, Mirabelle plum and cherry plum. The scent is warmed by the creamy richness of soft sandalwood and musk. Fans of Chloe’s luxurious handbags will appreciate the chic bottle with golden studs and hazelnut leather. $142 for 75mL.
