2. Jetset Genius
Jetset Genius is one of the best podcasts for business travelers. Their episodes are practical and surprising, covering topics you might not have even realized you wanted more information about. And that other podcasts generally don’t talk about.
The interviewers ask the hard but important questions, like whether or not you should prepay for gas when you rent a car while traveling, and how to ward off germs mid-flight. More than any other podcast, they aim to provide solutions to problems that travelers face, and they do so in a way that is quick and easy to absorb while you go about your daily life.
3. Bloomberg Travel Genius
What’s the most sure-fire way to get a flight upgrade? How can you find the best, secret local restaurants by asking just one question? What’s the first thing you should do when you get into a hotel room?
In the almost 40 episodes of Bloomberg Travel Genius, hosts Nikki Ekstein and Mark Ellwood interview some of the world’s most experienced travelers for their tried-and-true travel hacks.
4. Women Who Travel
Condé Nast Traveler editors Lale Arikoglu and Meredith Carey dissect the realities of traveling as a woman today in their two-year old podcast Women Who Travel.
They cover food, hospitality, adventure, and travel journalism, and conduct interviews with truly inspiring women. For example, the most recent episode focuses on Jessica Nabongo, the founder of boutique travel company Jet Black and who in 2019 became the first black woman to visit every country in the world. The vibe on this podcast is one we really love – in the hosts’ own words, it’s about “celebrating all the reasons why we refuse to stay home.”
5. Adventure Sports Podcast
With close to 600 episodes, Adventure Sports is a resource for from trekking to biking to base jumping, dog-sledding and summiting.
Each show features an in-depth interview with an adventure sports expert. Their stories are riveting and a great way to find inspiration for your next big trip.

8. Miles Away
Many of us have experienced this dilemma: we’ve racked up hundreds of thousands of frequent traveler points – and we have no idea how best to use them when it’s time to plan a fabulous vacation for ourselves, our families and our friends.
Enter The Points Guy (TPG), and their year-old podcast Miles Away. Hosted by Editor-at-Large Zach Honig, Miles Away is about both the right destination and how to get there. Preferably by using up all those frequent flyer miles and frequent stayer points from your preferred hotel.
Each episode explores either an off-the-beaten-path region or a popular, must-see travel hot spot through first-hand accounts. Then and expert from TPG explains the best options for using points and miles to get there. How cool is that?
9. Wander Woman
Wander Woman is a relatively new podcast launched in 2019 by the editor of Wanderlust magazine, Phoebe Smith. There are currently six episodes – each just under one hour – and they’re each a mix of field recordings of her round-the-world adventures and interviews with conservation and travel celebrities.
She also does gear testing and product recommendations. You’ll definitely want to hit the road after listening to one of these.
10. On She Goes
On She Goes (OSG) is a digital platform developed in 2017 by women of color to encourage and empower other women of color to travel more confidently.
Its podcast – which is now close to 50 episodes – features travel tips and discussions with the OSG team and their guests about topics as varied as immigration, ancestry, road trips, and outdoor adventure.
