The buzz has been building for months, and it’s finally here! Directed by Greta Gerwig, the latest movie adaption of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women features a star-studded cast, including Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Meryl Streep and Timothée Chalamet – Opening December 25, 2019

2. The Scheveningen Light Air Show
It’s not a European Christmas market, but the Scheveningen Light Air Show in the Netherlands is just as dazzling. Taking place after dark, it will include LED lights and pyrotechnics on the stunt planes – December 1 – 2, 2019

3. The Singapore Biennale
The theme of the ongoing Singapore Biennale is Every Step in the Right Direction. Which sounds perfect as we head into a new year and a new decade. 5. Sheku Kanneh-Mason’s New York debut
At just 20, the talented cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason dazzled a worldwide audience playing at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. The crowd at Weill Recital Hall will be considerably smaller – just over 250 – when he makes his New York recital debut with his sister, the pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason. They’ll be performing works by Beethoven, Lutoslawski, Barber and Rachmaninoff – December 11, 2019

6. The New Podcast You’re Dead to Me
Greg Jenner has a new podcast that we’re keen to listen in on. Jenner works on the Horrible Histories TV series, well-known to kids and their parents for its sharp and funny take on the past. Now he’s debuting what is essentially a Horrible Histories podcast for grown-ups called You’re Dead to Me.
In each episode, comedians and serious academics are the guests. Together they investigate colorful characters and dramatic events from history. Topics include Stonehenge as explored by Richard Herring (with the help of an archaeologist); the history of football; the Spartans; and Boudica with comedian Sara Pascoe.

7. The Audi FIS Ski World Cup

9. The new Gravity Haus in Breckenridge, Colorado
As staunch members of Team Snow, we have our eyes on the new Gravity Haus, a new 60-room ski-in/ski-out boutique hotel at the base of Breckenridge Ski Resort’s Peak 9.
