New York’s December Fashion Week is a mix of fall and pre-fall showings. Last year saw collections from the likes of Alexander Wang, Narciso Rodriguez and Proenza Schouler – Dec 2 – 13

FAD Holiday Market
Just as the most recent haute joaillerie collections are hitting the shelves, so is a beautiful new book on Cartier. Featuring texts by art historian Bérénice Geoffroy-Schneiter, jewelry historian Vivienne Becker, jewelry expert Joanna Hardy, and fashion editor André Leon Talley, Cartier Panthère ($185) chronicles the panther in art history.
