Whether you decide to go all-out or opt to just jazz up an ensemble that you’d wear to any party, whether you’ve been planning for weeks or are just getting started, here are 7 ideas on how to use luxury accessories or apparel to pop any Halloween ensemble. 1. Anya Hindmarch

An Anya Hindmarch “eyes” clutch, backpack, or slides. For whimsical fun, you cannot do better than these adorable bags and shoes for both men and women appliqued with wide-eyed – well, ghosts. Who knows if that’s what they really are? On Halloween night, that is definitely what they’ll look like.

2. Judith Leiber

A Judith Leiber Couture minaudiere. The designer is known for whimsical and fanciful evening bags, and Halloween is always a time for a new standout offering.

This year doesn’t disappoint: the Katerina Crystal Skull Clutch Bag ($5,495) is a truly refined and absolutely creepy accessory for Halloween parties – and other random nights of mischief.

3. Olympia Le-Tan

An Olympia Le-Tan clutch or tote that looks like a horror story: Psycho, anyone? The handbag designer’s iconic clutches are usually made to look like classic book covers. This year, the Psycho version ($1,566) is a tote made of black leather and cotton with a top handle, brass hardware, a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap. So you don’t have to go crazy trying to hold onto it.

A Libertine jacket or sweater. The funky LA apparel brand offers off-kilter, sequined, totally fun tailored jackets and cashmere sweaters with eyes, hands, occult symbols and macabre phrases all year ’round. You may not roll that way every day, but the brand always has something sinister-chic this time of year that makes for the perfect groovy Halloween jacket. Like this snake-embroidered Army jacket ($3,875). This year, we love the Be True to Your Skull embellished cashmere sweater ($2,000), available at Bergdorf Goodman. Toss on some leather pants, cool black boots and a black hat, and you will definitely be bewitching.

5. Halpern

A Halpern jumpsuit ($4,000) is the one piece you need if you want all eyes on you at the Halloween bash. But the silver sequinned one-shoulder top ($1,700) and matching flared trousers ($2,500) are in a league all their own, too.

Sarah Burton has kept the Gothic spirit that is so core to the DNA of McQueen under her tenure as head designer.
