Bon Appétit presents the Northwest food and drink festival, Feast Portland.  Since its inception, the festival has donated close to $450,000 to help end hunger  – Sept 12 – 15

Greenwich Wine + Food Festival is a multi-day event celebrating this area’s rich culinary landscape.  This year’s event will feature Martha Stewart, along with a performance by Little Big Town – Sept 20 – 21

American Sfoglino ($35) is the debut cookbook from Evan Funke, esteemed chef of L.A.’s Felix Trattoria.  In it he shares classic techniques from his Emilia-Romagna training for how to create some of the best pastas in the world.  With little more than flour, eggs, and a rolling pin, home cooks can recreate 15 classic pasta shapes, spanning simple pappardelle to perfect tortellini – Sept 24

Instead of a book focused on the work of one chef, writers Rick Kinsel and Gabrielle Langholtz traversed America to gather recipes from chefs who immigrated to America.
