Greenwich Wine + Food Festival is a multi-day event celebrating this area’s rich culinary landscape. This year’s event will feature Martha Stewart, along with a performance by Little Big Town – Sept 20 – 21

The bourbon capital of the world will host the annual Kentucky Bourbon Festival. One of September’s most popular food wine festivals, bourbon lovers enjoy 6 full days of tastings, food, and entertainment – Sept 18 – 22
The Rioja Wine Harvest Festival brings thousands of wine enthusiasts together to drink some of Spain’s best wines. Red, white and rosé wines are combined with regional cuisine and tapas for this wonderful food and wine festival held every September in the capital of the Rioja region – Sept 19 – 26

Chris Shepard is dropping his first cookbook, Cook Like a Local ($35), bringing to the page the ideas and recipes that have made him a sensation in his adopted hometown of Houston – Sept 3
In Josh Niland’s Whole Fish Cookbook ($40), he shares both basic and creative techniques for cooking fish, from proper butchery to using fish bone marrow – Sept 17

American Sfoglino ($35) is the debut cookbook from Evan Funke, esteemed chef of L.A.’s Felix Trattoria. In it he shares classic techniques from his Emilia-Romagna training for how to create some of the best pastas in the world. Instead of a book focused on the work of one chef, writers Rick Kinsel and Gabrielle Langholtz traversed America to gather recipes from chefs who immigrated to America. Sotheby’s will present The Don Stott Cellar: 50 Years of Collecting Part IV this month. The sale is considered to be the most important Burgundy collection ever to come to auction.
