Copenhagen Fashion Week will see a number of Nordic brands showing their Spring Summer 2020 collections. They include Rotate, Stand, Holzweiler and By Malene Birger – Aug 5 – 9
Taking place at NYC’s Pier 94 is the Indie Beauty Expo, the world’s largest exposition of independent brands and the definitive destination for beauty entrepreneurs and independent innovators – Aug 21 – 22
Exhibiting the beauty of African culture, art and fashion to a European and global audience is Africa Fashion Week Amsterdam – Aug 22 – 24
Melbourne Fashion Week is one of the largest and most popular consumer fashion events in Australia. Last year brought over 65,000 attendees – Aug 28 – Sep 5

One of the most notable art fairs in August 2019 is in Japan. Curated by journalist and activist Tsuda Daisuke, the fourth edition of Japan’s Aichi Triennale will be titled “Taming Y/Our Passion.” It will focus on the Aichi Prefecture’s history as a leading manufacturing region and its place in the global political arena. Work from more than 80 artists will be spread across four venues in the city – Aug 1 – Oct 14

St. Moritz Art Masters Art Show August 2019
The biennial Lofoten International Art Festival takes place this month and takes its inspiration from lives and processes that occur along the Norwegian islands’ wide intertidal zone, with artwork to be produced along the shorelines of both the western and eastern regions of the Lofoten archipelago – Aug 30 – Sep 9
Code Art Fair is the only international art fair in Scandinavia and showcases some of the best contemporary art, not only from the Nordic region, but from around the world – Aug 28 – 31
