A hot summer always brings something new and cool in the world of fashion and beauty, and this year is no exception. There are new pop-up stores; surprising and fresh designer collaborations; and of course, summer 2019 will see the debut of several new fashion and beauty products. Here’s a round-up of the 15 best summer 2019 luxury fashion launches.

Here are our top 15 picks for the best and most-wanted luxury fashion launches this summer.
1. Net Sustain by Net-a-Porter
This month, Net-a-Porter launched Net Sustain, its sustainable fashion edit, featuring over 20 eco-friendly designer brands. They include Veja, ELV, Heneu and an exclusive capsule from Maggie Marilyn.
2. Gucci Cosmetics
Gucci makes it first foray into color cosmetics with a new lipstick collection with 58 shades ($38). We love the one with the floral packaging! Next year, Hermès is following suit – the brand’s new skin care and cosmetics line will reportedly launch with Hermès lipstick and moisturizer in 2020.
3. Virgil Abloh’s Orange Capsule
Menswear Creative Director Virgil Abloh has dropped an all-orange Louis Vuitton capsule collection to be sold exclusively at a pop-up store in Chicago as part of the designer’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art.
The limited edition collection consists of a sneaker, leather baseball cap, sunglasses with orange lenses, a chain belt, and a soft trunk bag and backpack. Better hurry, orange aficionados: the pop-up only lasts until July 7, 2019.
4. the Lion King x Sir John x Luminess
In mid-July, when the live-action version of The Lion King featuring Beyoncé debuts, a new beauty collaboration will also drop. Sir John is Beyoncé’s go-to makeup artist, and beauty mavens are already lining up to buy this line.
Disney’s The Lion King Limited Edition Collection by Sir John x Luminess is an eight-piece collection. There are five lip products, including Be Brave Matte Lipstick ($24); Be Prepared Liquid Lipstick ($24); the Legacy Tinted Lip Balm ($24). In addition, you’ll find the Circle of Life Highlighter ($40); the Can’t Wait to Be Queen Eye Shadow Palette ($40); and the Kingdom Sculpting Palette ($40). A kit of all the products will also be available for $250.
5. Birkenstocks
A long-anticipated collection of high fashion Birkenstocks is here. As of June 15, 2019, the footwear brand has launched designs from Valentino, Rick Owens, design magazine and workship O32c, and Tuscan resort Hotel Il Pellicano as part of its 1774 program, which sees ongoing partnerships between the brand and luxury designers and artists. Prices range from $110 to $520.
6. Gabriela Hearst Joplin Phone Case
“It Girl” Gabriela Hearst continues to deliver for chic boss women. Her latest accessory debut is the Joplin crocodile cross-body phone case. Named after Janis Joplin, the American rock and soul singer-songwriter, it has a clear window to see the clock on your phone, and an attached leather card holder. Special order only, price upon request.
7. Re:la
Regarding Los Angeles (Re: LA) is celebrating the city’s creatives with a collection of tops and leather accessories printed with quotes from notable Angeleno artists like David Hockney, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Agnes Varda, Werner Herzog, Alex Prager, Frank Gehry, and Joan Didion.
Apparel pricing ranges from $95 for a short-sleeved tee, to $105 for a long-sleeved tee, and $155 for a crew neck sweatshirt. Bags are $165 for a clutch and $495 for a cross-body.
8. Alberta Ferreti Love Me
On the occasion of Earth Day 2019, Alberta Ferreti launched a capsule collection of recycled cashmere sweaters ($595) as part of her Love Me line.
9. Julie de Lebran
After five years as artist director of Sonia Rykiel, Julie de Lebran has launched her own line. It’s starting with a small collection of dresses, and they’ll be as “green” as possible. Pieces will be made to order to reduce waste. Expect feminine details, event dresses, and perhaps even wedding gowns.
10. Dubgee by Whoopi Goldberg
On May 15, 2019, Whoopie Goldberg launched a new fashion line of chic, comfortable, casual apparel. Dubgee is available on Amazon, Ashley Stewart, Le Tote and Neiman Marcus, with prices ranging from about $90 to $400.
11. Louis Vuitton B Blossom
Louis Vuitton has launched a new collection of fine jewelry, B Blossom. It’s a fresh take on the brand’s iconic Monogram Flower. You’ll find cocktail rings of pink gold and white diamonds ($5,400); yellow gold and mother-of-pearl earrings ($8,550); and pendants with onyx and diamonds ($15,500).
12. Louis Vuitton X and ArtyCapucines
“Louis Vuitton X” opens to the public on June 28 in Beverly Hills. It’s an immersive, Instagram-ready exhibition exploring the luxury brand’s 160 year history. The VIP Preview party is scheduled for June 27, and the free exhibition will run from late June to mid-September.
June also marks the debut of the LV ArtyCapucines collection. The Capucines bag has been re-envisioned by six contemporary artists: Alex Israel, Sam Falls, Jonas Wood, Urs Fischer, Nicholas Hlobo and Tschabalala Self. Only 300 of each bag will be produced, each of which will be signed by the artist and numbered. $8,600 each.
13. Chanel Beaute
Chanel’s Global Creative Make-Up and Colour Designer Lucia Pica previewed a new makeup collection for Chanel at the 2020 Resort show in Paris. It’s meant to channel the iconic palette of Coco Chanel: black and white, of course. The statement item is the glossy black lip color called Laque Noire. But you’ll also find a mauve inspired by wilted tulips and another lip gloss in pure white. Plus nail polish in blanc and noir.
14. La DoubleJ Home
J.J. Martin, founder of the label La DoubleJ, is launching a new line of home decor. It’ll include a vibrant array of bedding, decorative pillows, and fine china. Plus vases, sheets, pillowcases and bed covers.
15. the B Series at Burberry
Burberry’s B Series is a monthly drop of exclusive, limited-edition products that have been designed and curated by the house’s Chief Creative Offier, Riccardo Tisci. The pieces drop on the 17th of each month, and are available for 24 hours only on Instagram. If you love what you see, mark your calendars. The brand’s next summer 2019 fashion offering launches July 17, 2019.
