The month of June has us running full speed into summer. There’s plenty to see and do, starting with the Big Five Marathon, which couples running with a classic safari vacation.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup kicks off in France this month. Three major horse races take place in June, among them the glamorous Royal Ascot. The best in tennis will be on the courts in June for the Finals of the French Open.
Other major sporting events taking place in June? The 119th edition of the US Open and the first ever MLB London Series in which the Boston Red Sox will take on the New York Yankees at London Stadium.

Equinox is opening its first hotel this month in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards, promising to blend “the science of fitness with the art of travel.” The hotel will have a 60,000-square-foot gym, hundreds of group fitness classes, a SoulCycle studio, indoor and outdoor pools and one-on-one training and recovery programs

The annual Vera Bradley Classic is the largest amateur women’s golf and tennis charity tournament in the country. More than 2500 guests and volunteers join tournaments held at three separate clubs. A women’s pickleball tournament will kick off the event in Fort Wayne, Indiana – June 1 – 3
The best in tennis this June, though, will be the Finals of the French Open at Roland Garros – June 8-9

The 2nd European Games will be held in Minsk, Belarus and will feature 199 events in 15 sports. Ten of the sports included will have qualification opportunities for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. The first European Games were held in Baku in 2015 – June 21 – 30

The 12th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic returns to scenic Liberty State Park – June 1
All eyes are on England for the Derby Stakes at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey – June 1
This year marks the 151st running of the Belmont Stakes – June 8
One of Britain’s most well known racecourses, Ascot will hold its special week of races called the Royal Ascot. Attended by The Queen, this week has become Britain’s most popular race meeting, welcoming around 300,000 visitors over five days, all dressed up in their finest clothes and hats – June 18 – 22

For its 119th edition, the US Open will head to Pebble Beach, California. Brooks Koepka is said to be the early favorite for this tournament – June 10 – 16
