June marks the official start of the summer travel season. And if you haven’t made any plans yet, why not head to one of the latest openings around the world. If you are looking for an urban adventure check out the new J.K. Place Paris or Mr. C Coconut Grove in Miami. Among the luxury hotel openings in June is the 30-room J.K. Place Paris will be the J.K. Place brand’s first venture outside of Italy. Located on the Left Bank in a former embassy building, the hotel will feature a Sisley spa and pool, an Italian eatery by “Casa Tua” and accommodations with Italian and French design influences
Bless Hotel Ibiza on Es Canar’s Cala Nova cove features views of the Mediterranean Sea coupled with 151 rooms with decor inspired by Coco Chanel
Situated in the island’s capital of Funchal and within walking distance to the Old Town, Savoy Palace aspires to become Madeira’s “luxury lifestyle hub” with an array of facilities, including game rooms, fitness programs, children’s activities and a destination spa with hydrotherapy – June 10
Katikies Resorts & Club is set to debut its first family-friendly hotel this month. Katikies Garden will open in Santorini in an old Catholic Monastery with Venetian architecture while showcasing a contemporary design – June 15

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will roll the dice on service between Las Vegas and Amsterdam, with new flights on Thursdays and Sundays – June 6
Located in a 1920s-era Spanish colonial revival-style building, the Proper Hotel Santa Monica is one of the most notable luxury hotel openings in June. The hotel will offer 271 guest rooms and suites, a 3,000-square-foot Ayurvedic spa, a 2,500-square-foot gym and a restaurant overseen by Sqirl’s Jessica Koslow and award-winning chef Gabriella Camara – June 17
Encore Boston Harbor, a full-service resort offering dining, shopping and gaming is opening this month. The resort will feature Memoire as its flagship nightlife venue, which will have appearances from the likes of Steve Aoki and DJ Diesel (the stage name of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal) during its first week of operation – June 23
Drawing inspiration from Italy’s iconic coastal style, Mr. C Coconut Grove will open in Miami, Florida. The hotel offers views of Biscayne Bay and the Coconut Grove skyline and has the aesthetic elements of a classic yacht
The long awaited Equinox Hotel opens in NYC’s Hudson Yards and marks the first hotel for the fitness chain
Hotel Emblem has opened in downtown San Francisco, where Nob Hill meets Union Square and the Theater District

Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing is the first Mandarian Oriental hotel in China’s capital. Located on the upper levels of Wangfujing in Beijing, the hotel provides stunning views of historic landmarks, including The Forbidden City in addition to plenty of luxury

British Airways travel spas have unveiled a stylish new look and an elevated treatment menu together with Interior designer Kelly Hoppen. The Elemis Spa at Heathrow features complimentary 15-minute treatments, including a muscle ease back massage and deep scalp massage, as well as Elemis Biotec add-ons promising greater benefits to skin, body and wellness
This one’s not a new travel product in June – it’s a new travel service. Guests at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts can now experience a new personalised e-butler service, direct from their smartphone. The service allows guests to communicate with hotel staff via instant messaging applications. They can request room service, book spa treatments, request housekeeping services, make dinner reservations, order drinks and snacks delivered to the beach. Or even book a future stay.
