Then head to Florida for the sunny Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Prefer testing recipes in your own kitchen? The Book of Tapas hits the shelves this month, full of ideas for tasty treats. Wash it all down at the Bruges Beer Festival in Belgium or in Manhattan during NYC Beer Week.

Whether land, sea or sky, the speed machines are at it again this month. Enjoy vintage cars at the London Classic Car Show and at RM Sotheby’s Paris auction. Looking for something a bit more modern? Check out the Formula One Winter Testing in Spain. The glamorous boat shows in February include the in-water Miami Yacht Show. And up in the air, its time for a new season of Red Bull Air Races in Abu Dhabi.

Kicking off the month is Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, featuring the New England Patriots versus the Los Angeles Rams. Other big events include the World Golf Championship in Mexico; the FIS World Ski Championships in Sweden; and the start of the Six Nations Cup in France. If you prefer being in motion yourself, there are wellness festivals on deck, like the Good Fest in LA and a Wanderlust Fest in Hawaii.

Kicking off “fashion month” is New York Fashion Week, which will cover both women’s and men’s collections this time. Rotterdam is the place to be for art shows, including Art Rotterdam. Meanwhile, Stockholm hosts its annual Design Week. Lest we forget the romantic holiday in the middle of the month, Sotheby’s is hosting its annual Highlights from Erotic: Passion & Desire sale. The grand finale of a very busy month is Paris Fashion Week.

Awards season is in full swing this month with the BAFTAs, Grammys and Academy Awards all taking place. There are new films debuting, like Cold Pursuit; and new TV shows, including the critically-praised Russian Doll. Kiss Me, Kate returns to the Broadway stage after a 20-year absence. And don’y miss the debut of a new podcast for opera lovers called Aria Code.

The world of the performing and visual arts adopts a celebratory tone in February. There are tributes to love and St. Valentine via performances of The Sleeping Beauty by the New York City Ballet and Love, Legends and Fairytales by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The New York Pops will celebrate the life and legacy of a legend with Unforgettable: Celebrating Nat King Cole and Friends.
