London-based designer Alexandra Llewellyn creates backgammon boards and custom-made game tables. Handmade in the UK, the blue Tulip Backgammon Board is a Moda Operandi exclusive. It’s crafted from olive wood and decorated with a photographic tulip and finished with hand-applied lacquer. The playing pieces are white jasper encased in polished brass and gold.

Vladimir Kanevsky creates bespoke artistic botanical arrangements. The former architect was born in Ukraine and is now based in the US. He crafts intricate floral sculptures with incredible attention to detail, to great acclaim. His work was displayed at the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg last year. Kanevsky custom-makes each of his bouquets by hand. The flowers are made of porcelain, and the leaves and stems are made of painted copper. Prices for a small potted arrangement start at about $4,000.
