Chef-forager René Redzepi’s non-profit organisation Mad will hold its 6th annual Mad Symposium in Copenhagen with talks, demonstrations, group discussions and, of course, exclusive dinners – Aug 26 – 27
La Tomatina, a massive food fight held in the tiny town of Buñol, 25 miles outside Valencia takes place at the end of this month. The festival, which lasts fewer than two hours and involves the hurling and smashing of nearly 180 tons of overripe tomatoes, has been a fixture on the Spanish calendar only since the late 1950s – Aug 29
