The start of summer generally signals a slower pace and a lighter schedule. But not when it comes to fashion and design. June kicks off with some great new exhibitions, including one on the legendary photographer Bill Cunningham and one on Frida Kahlo.  June also marks the return of Art Basel and the annual CFDA Fashion Awards, as well as design weeks in San Francisco, Medellin and Barcelona.  This month also might be your only chance to bid on an engagement ring once worn by Peggy Rockefeller herself.
