• The 135^th Royal Canadian Henley Regatta rowing competition takes place in the city of St. Catharines – Aug 6-13
• Canada’s largest airshow, the Abbotsford International Airshow takes place Aug 11-13
• This year’s Chicago Air and Water Show will feature the Blue Angels and Army Parachute Team Golden Knights along the shore of Lake Michigan – Aug 19-20
• The iconic Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is the high point of Monterey Car Week (Aug 14-20) and considered the finest exhibition of show cars in the world – Aug 20
• The 45^th edition of the Opera House Cup Regatta off the coast of Nantucket is expected to attract some of the finest sailboats in the world; the OHC regatta was the first all-wooden, single-hulled classic boat regatta on the East Coast of the United States – Aug 20
• CarFest South is an all-encompassing car show in Hampshire, England (its sister show, CarFest North, is in Cheshire) featuring exhibits, races and live music – Aug 25-27
• The UK’s biggest air festival, the Bournemouth Air Festival, will feature aerial demonstrations from the RAF Red Arrows and a flotilla of Royal Navy ships – Aug 31-Sept 3
